Des Moines International Airport Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity

Des Moines International Airport (DSM) is proud to unveil its new logo and refreshed brand identity, a bold, modern look reflecting the airport’s vision for Iowa’s future locally and nationally. This rebrand marks a pivotal moment as DSM continues to grow and prepare for the completion of its new terminal, set to open in early 2027.

The logo will debut at the end of next week on the north end of DSM’s new parking garage, which is scheduled for completion at the end of June. The garage will add 1,100 much-needed parking spaces, improving access and convenience for travelers. Its prominent logo placement will serve as the first visible symbol of DSM’s progressing identity. Over the coming months, the new look will roll out across the airport, including updated signage, digital platforms, and a refreshed
FlyDSM.com website.

With a new terminal on the horizon, DSM recognized the need for a visual identity that reflects its momentum. The sleek new logo represents movement, connection, and DSM’s role as a gateway for Central Iowa and beyond.

“This new brand reflects who we are today and where we’re headed,” said Brian Mulcahy, Executive Director of the Des Moines Airport Authority. “We needed a visual identity that matches the scale and vision of our terminal project while staying true to our goal of making travel easier for our passengers. We’re proud to carry this brand into the future.”

As the rebrand rolls out, travelers will begin to see the new identity throughout DSM, including a redesigned website, refreshed terminal signage and marketing materials. The launch signals a new era for DSM, one defined by growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.
