DSM is committed to ensuring safe and convenient travel to and from Iowa. The Des Moines International Airport Operations team is responsible for safety throughout the terminal and on the airport campus.

To report a non-emergency safety concern identified at Des Moines International Airport (DSM), please use the Confidential Report Form at http://safety.dsmairport.com. This form is not intended for reporting emergencies. If the safety concern is an emergency, call 911 immediately.
Work Order Requests
Airport employees and tenants in need of assistance can submit a work request through the Work Order Request Portal. Use the video request form to request video footage.

Tour Request Overview
Discover what it takes to keep an airport running with a guided tour of Des Moines International Airport. Our ADA-compliant tours last up to 1 hour and 45 minutes and give groups a unique look inside airport operations. Please note that routes may vary depending on the day, and some areas have photography restrictions.
Tours are open to participants ages 10 and up. Youth groups require adult chaperones - one adult per six children ages 10-12, or one adult per 12 children, ages 13-17. Groups are limited to 12 children with two chaperones, or up to 12 adults.
Tours are typically offered on Tuesdays between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and are guided by members of our Operations Team while on shift making every experience a little different. Free parking accommodations are available.
When requesting a tour, simply select your first and second choice for preferred dates, and once approved, our team will be in touch to confirm your visit.
